INTO BO CHAMPON: The founder of the law firm, Attorney Into Bo Champon received his Bachelor of Sciences degree from the University of Southern California (Los Angeles, California) and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law* (Sacramento/Stockton/San Francisco, California). Attorney Champon received an honor to write and publish a 62-page law review article in his school's law review journal, the Transnational Lawyer, in Spring 1990, and passed the California Bar Exam on the first attempt. He also completed trial training at the College of Advocacy at Hastings College of Law, University of California. He speaks and reads Lao, Thai, and French, and is also a Certified Commercial Investment Member (C.C.I.M.). Attorney Champon is a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association and the Consumers Attorneys of California. He has represented clients in a large number of mediations and arbitrations. Attorney Champon has also personally conducted both civil and criminal jury trials. He is also a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and has conducted trials in immigration cases. In addition to maintaining his busy law practice, he frequently finds time to work as a volunteer attorney to help the indigents in Southern California. MICHAEL E. REX received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science from California State University Fullerton (Fullerton, California) with honors. His LSAT score was in the top 1%. Mr. Rex graduated from the University of Southern California Law School (Los Angeles, California) and passed the California Bar Exam on the first attempt. Prior to joining the firm as a full-time attorney in 1997, he had worked as a law clerk for the law firm from 1995 to 1996. Attorney Rex has worked on numerous immigration, family law, bankruptcy and other litigation cases. WILLIAM S. YEE was a former partner and trial attorney of Berger Kahn, a major insurance defense law firm. Attorney Yee's grand father came to the US in the early 1900s. He received his BA degree from Occidental College and his Juris Doctor (law) degree from the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, California, where he met Attorney Into Champon in 1988. He has been a trial attorney for 19 years. He has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in state and federal courts, at both trial and appellate levels. He has tried a class action case and has litigated many employment cases involving employment termination, race discrimination, sexual harassment, California Fair Employment and Housing Act and family leave and other employment issues. He has handled matters involving real estate, breach of contract, business torts (defamation, libel, interference with contract, fraud, etc), trade name disputes, negotiable instrument fraud and other business disputes. Will has also defended attorneys and medical providers in professional malpractice cases. He has successfully conducted jury trials as a defense attorney against top plaintiff attorneys. In Schwarz v. Montego At Monarch Beach (Orange County Superior Court Case Number 00CC12103), he successfully defended a homeowners association against a law suit and obtained a six-figure judgment for attorney's fees for his client against the plaintiff. A case in which Mr. Yee was the prevailing trial attorney, was published in the California Official Reporter Tilley v. CZ Master Association, 131 Cal.App.4th 464, review den. (2005). He had also successfully represented a relocation firm in recovering a six-figure settlement from a telecommunication company defendant for breaching a contract. He won jury trials in cases involving mold injury, serious injury from sports, and employment contracts.
